What's a Nazarene?
Church of the Nazarene Denomination
Nazarene's are followers of the greatest resident from the town of Nazareth, Jesus. Our denomination is unique in Christianity because of our constant focus on total surrender to the love of God, the grace of God, and the call of God. The ultimate picture of surrender is Jesus on the cross and his surrender opens the door for our salvation and sanctification.
We strive to grow and mature as followers of Jesus so that he becomes more and we become less. Full maturity in Christ is seen in followers who serve others and submit to God's will.
At GCC, we are Seeking Wholeness (Maturity)In Christ Together knowing that maturing as a Christian is done best within the body of Christ.
