Gateway Community Church Staff Report

It is a privilege to serve at Gateway with such a great ministry team. This year I have held the position of Pastoral Care Associate. During this time, my main responsibilities have been in the areas of hospital visitation, home visitation, End of Life and Bereavement Care, individual and family counseling, funerals, and weddings. The opportunity to serve others during times of loss, uncertainty, and need of encouragement has been a tremendous blessing.

           I have also served in other ministries at Gateway this year that have involved Men’s Ministry Team, Gateway Small Group Connections, Fifty-Five Plus Ministries, Greeters’ Ministry, and Leadership in Adult Education. As I look ahead to this new year, the need to recruit, train, and assimilate other workers into these ministry areas is a major focus. As Gateway continues to experience growth, the needs of our families and friends will also increase. I am also thankful for my wife Cathy who is and has always been a partner in ministry!
