Gateway Men's Ministry provides men the opportunity to make deep relationships known as "friends for life."  We meet on Wednesday evenings and have a few special events during the year.

 His Hands and Feet

The Men's Ministry Service and Outreach Committee would like to announce the formation of a new ministry called "His Hands and Feet." This ministry's goal is to provide assistance to those in our church who may need a helping hand with minor home tasks or repairs.

Initially we would like to offer our help to widow's, single mothers, the elderly, infirmed, or otherwise disabled persons and their families, who may be unable to handle certain tasks around their homes. Depending on the needs and demands, we may later expand this to others outside our church.

Examples of services we might provide include but are not necessarily limited to: minor yard work, cleaning up downed tree limbs, changing light bulbs, changing furnace filters, hanging pictures or drapes, or shower curtains, moving furniture, replacing water softener salt, and minor auto repairs such as changing windshield wiper blades or jumping a dead car battery, shoveling snow, or raking leaves. As time allows we may also make ourselves available to assist with transportation needs for doctor's appointments or pick-up for church.

Requests for assistance can be sent to Jim Mosley at jam6md@gmail.com or through Church Center.

1 Peter 4:10-11 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
